The Official Pro Curator Ring

The Official Pro Curator Ring

The Pro Curator Ring

The Pro Curator Ring is one of the most meaningful and legendary symbols within CommunityScape because it represents thoughtful research, trusted curation, creativity, and elite achievement. Just like championship rings or college class rings, it serves as a tangible trophy that commemorates a major accomplishment and the hard work required to become a verified Pro Curator. The official ring size is a 12.

What is the Pro Curator Award?

The Pro Curator Award is one of the most respected recognitions on CommunityScape. This award honors individuals and teams who have demonstrated a deep commitment to thoughtful curation, meaningful research, and the sharing of trusted information with others.

A Pro Curator is not simply someone who uploads content. A Pro Curator is someone who studies, organizes, supports, and presents information in a way that helps people grow, learn, and better understand the world around them. In a time where unsupported and inaccurate information spreads quickly online, CommunityScape believes curated knowledge and intentional research matter more than ever.

Public Hub Requirements

To qualify for the Pro Curator Award, you must have:

  • A public Hub

  • At least 20 public Topics

  • At least 100 public Resources

Not all of your Topics and Resources must be public, but the required amount listed above must be publicly visible.

You do not need to be a paid Hub member to earn:

  • The Pro Curator Award

  • The digital Hub badge

  • The certificate

  • The certificate holder

CommunityScape believes great curation should be recognized regardless of membership level.

What Is A Completed Topic?

A completed Topic must contain:

  • A clear and site-appropriate cover image

  • A Topic title that properly connects to the image

  • Content that aligns with CommunityScape’s values and mission

The relationship between the Topic title and Topic image is extremely important during the Pro Curator review process. CommunityScape evaluates whether your Topic presentation feels intentional, thoughtful, organized, and visually connected to the information being presented.

Your Topic image should help users immediately understand the purpose, direction, or feeling of the Topic itself.

What Is A Completed Resource?

A completed Resource is designed to thoroughly explain, support, and present information related to the Resource title.

The Text section is mandatory and is always the first required Resource element.

Your written text should act as:

  • A thorough summary

  • A detailed explanation

  • A biography

  • Or an educational breakdown depending on the type of Resource being presented.

A completed written section should include:

  • An introduction paragraph

  • 3 supporting paragraphs

  • A conclusion paragraph

CommunityScape absolutely allows AI tools to assist with writing and organization. However, applicants are still expected to understand and support the information they publish.

Resource Elements

Resources on CommunityScape can contain several types of supporting elements:

  • Text

  • Audio Files

  • Links

  • Videos

  • Document Files

To be considered a completed Resource, you must have:

  • Thorough completed text

  • Plus at least 4 additional supporting Resource elements

For example:

  • Completed text

  • 2 links

  • 1 document file

  • 1 video

This example would equal 5 total Resource elements and would qualify as a completed Resource even without an audio file.

Every element included in a Resource should clearly support and strengthen the Resource itself.

Users viewing your Resource should understand why each element was chosen and how it connects to the information being presented.

Resource Cover Image Standards

Just like Topic cover images, Resource cover images must also:

  • Be clear

  • Be site-appropriate

  • Align with CommunityScape’s values

  • Connect directly to the Resource title and content

Resource images should visually reinforce the story, subject, person, idea, or educational material being presented within the Resource.

Intentional presentation matters greatly during the Curator Award review process.

Verification & Live Quiz Process

All applicants must complete a verification and review process.

After submitting your application, the CommunityScape team will review your public Topics and Resources. Applicants who move forward will be required to complete a live video quiz with the CommunityScape team.

The quiz process includes:

  • Up to 20 random questions

  • Questions created directly from your public Topics and Resources

  • A passing score of 80% or higher

The questions are intentionally designed to be thoughtful and challenging. The purpose of the quiz is to confirm that applicants genuinely understand the information they are curating and sharing with the community.

Applicants may absolutely use AI tools to help assist with creating Topics and Resources. CommunityScape strongly believes AI is part of the future. However, applicants are expected to genuinely understand, research, and support the information they publish.

Because of this, applicants are strongly encouraged to study their own Topics and Resources before the live quiz.

If you do not pass the quiz:

  • Re-taking the test is completely free

  • You must wait 30 complete days before re-testing

  • Beginning on the 31st day, you may re-take the quiz

  • Your future questions may be different from your original quiz

Application Timeline

Once your application is submitted, the CommunityScape team will respond with next steps within approximately 7 days.

After receiving your response:

  • You will have a minimum of 7 days to prepare for your live video quiz

  • Due to application volume, response times may occasionally take longer than expected

  • Applicants should remain prepared during the review period

CommunityScape takes the Pro Curator process very seriously and expects applicants to do the same.

The Meaning of a Pro Curator

Becoming a Pro Curator means more than earning an award.

It means you are recognized as someone who thoughtfully researches, organizes, and supports the information you share. It means your Hub reflects intentional effort, curiosity, creativity, and care for others who may learn from your work.

CommunityScape understands that many Topics are subjective, personal, creative, cultural, or opinion-based. Applicants are not expected to be perfect.

However, CommunityScape does not support the careless publishing of unsupported or intentionally false information simply to generate content.

A verified Pro Curator is viewed within the platform as a trusted and valued source of meaningful curation and thoughtfully backed information.

Pro Curator Ring Fine Print

CommunityScape reserves the right to update, modify, expand, or change the requirements associated with earning the Pro Curator Ring and related awards at any time as the platform continues to grow and evolve.

This may include changes to the number of required Topics or Resources, updates to quiz structure or difficulty, additional verification requirements, removal of certain requirements, or the introduction of new award levels and rings that recognize further achievement and success on the platform.

CommunityScape is committed to continually improving the value, meaning, and integrity of the Pro Curator recognition system.
